John Kim is the Associate Director of Programs for the University of Pittsburgh School Office of Child Development. He overseas programming, including Family Foundations Early Head Start, as well as overall communications, professional development, and emerging opportunities for OCD. Previous professional experience includes serving as Associate Director of Communications for Partners for Education at Berea College, Grant Manager at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY, and Project Manager for the Innovation Center at Humana in Louisville. He also has extensive experience in technology and investment management in San Francisco. He received his Doctorate in Education from Northern Kentucky University and Masters in Public Health from the University of Kentucky. John is an avid cyclist and freelance writer, and is actively involved with charities that support children, youth and animals.
